   By considering the gradient of a multichannel image as a 3D tensor with dimensions corresponding to the image domain, spatial derivatives and channels, we introduce collaborative sparsity enforcing norms to address the ill-posedness of color imaging problems. We obtain a regularization framework for color images that uses different channel couplings and enables joint directions of smoothing. We analyze which of the arising models are best suited for color image denoising and other inverse problems.

   El objetivo de esta charla es proporcionar una visión general y estimulante de la investigación de vanguardia en técnicas de aprendizaje profundo (Deep Learning) y su uso en varios campos de la inteligencia artificial. Por un lado, se introducirán los conceptos básicos y la historia reciente del aprendizaje profundo, así como los recursos disponibles para el desarrollo de aplicaciones. Y por otro, se analizarán los últimos trabajos más destacados a nivel mundial en esta disciplina, en campos tan diversos como la visión por ordenador; la robótica; los vehículos autónomos; el análisis, descripción escenográfica y clasificación de imágenes y vídeos; o la comprensión del lenguaje humano. Por último, se presentarán algunos de los trabajos de investigación que actualmente se están desarrollando en el Dpto. de Ciencias Matemáticas e Informática que están utilizando aprendizaje profundo.

   Most Earth satellites observation decouple the acquisition of a panchromatic (grayscale) image at high spatial resolution from the acquisition of a multispectral image at lower spatial resolution. The pansharpening problem refers to the fusion process of inferring a high-resolution multispectral image from a high-resolution panchromatic image and a low-resolution multispectral one. To solve it, we propose a functional model that incorporates a nonlocal regularization term and two fidelity terms.
